ELKE + BRENDAN’S NOOSA HINTERLAND WEDDING
PRIVATE PROPERTY - Neusavale
March 2016
Elke and Brendan’s March wedding was set on the most beautiful private property in the Noosa hinterland, it was more than a ‘private property’ it was Elke’s parents’ home, and it was stunning. The Georgian-style home was set on an expansive acreage with ancient fig trees dotted over the landscape and sweet little hens scratching around. The Autumn weather allowing for a perfect ceremony at this stunning Sunshine Coast Private Property
Elke’s subtle bohemian style mixed with a dash of whimsy a hint of Tuscan romance was evident in every element of her wedding, from the delicate flower crown to the gorgeous lace dress by Grace Loves Lace to the open-air reception, everywhere you looked, the day felt like you were walking through a real-life pinboard.
We used a combination of White O’Hara roses (which has the sweetest creamy blush centres), astrantia, white lisianthus, white hyacinths, champagne cluster lace roses and blush hypericum berry mixed with trailing pepper tree, jasmine, ivy with hints of rosemary and olive leaf. Elke’s bouquet was loose and natural in shape with the bridesmaid’s bouquets also natural in style too just with fewer flowers and more foliage.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for making my floral dreams come true. You exceeded all our expectations!
Elke and Brendan said their sacred vows to each other in front of their closest friends and family shaded by two fig trees growing side by side. The trees framed them perfectly and to me, was symbolic of the life they were going to embark on together as a married couple.
Simple aisle posies of mixed herbs, fern, and Queen Anne’s lace dotted the aisle and a lush garland of florals draped across the registry table, other than that it was all about the ridiculously good-looking couple under the trees!
The flowers were absolutely stunning and their arrival in the morning made one of my favourite memories.
The reception space was really welcoming with an open-air space set in front of the home (more like a dream house!) raw timber trestle tables flowed with festoon lights above and all framed by olive trees in pots. The linen napkins complimented the table runners and the brass troughs filled with European style florals complimented the cross back chairs. Elke and her mum found the dream team with Simply Style Co and Willow Bud with every detail perfectly refined and classic.
This wedding was artfully captured by Ephemeral Creative also formally known as Trent & Jessie Photographers. We adore working with this duo as every image is a work of art and we love their creative eye for detail. We were also so excited when this stunner of a wedding was featured in Hello May Magazine, not just on the blog, but IN the magazine!

Willow Bud Wedding Florist created these wedding flowers and bridal bouquets. The wedding ceremony and reception designs were created specifically for this bride at this Sunshine Coast wedding venue, but this style could be created at many of our beautiful Sunshine Coast hinterland wedding venues in Maleny, Montville, Mapleton, Obi Obi, and Flaxton. This wedding styling and wedding florals would also match perfectly with venues and beaches in Noosa, Mooloolaba, Caloundra and private properties across the Sunshine Coast.
