LOVE BLOOMS AT MOOLOOLABA SPIT AND THE GREEN ZEBRA, KAWANA ISLAND

Hayley and Nicola’s day was all about sweet moments, soft florals, laughter, rainbows and love. They travelled from Canberra to be married in the sun on the Sunshine Coast….noone told the ‘Sun’shine coast this was the plan…

In terms of florals the girls chose to keep a similar colour palette for their bouquets and dresses but still being individual in style. The colour featured were blush, whites, greys and greens.

Nicola chose gorgeous king proteas to feature in her’s and her bridesmaids bouquets with more native features in grey and green tones like eucalyptus, tetragona nuts and green hanging amaranthys. Hayley’s bouquet was more soft floral but in the same colour palette with roses, dahlias, double tulips, olive and pepper tree foliage with both brides bouquets including the bleached ruscus and bunny tail grass.

Nicola also had us create her a custom hair piece that included pieces from her mums own bridal hairpiece. So sweet, its always lovely to include these sweet gestures on the day.

We created full and flowing florals for the arbour at the ceremony at Mooloolaba Spit, overlooking the sand and surf. The stunning circular bronze arbour from beautiful weddings was adorned with lush florals from both brides bouquets. After a refreshing rain shower the arbour florals looked dew kissed and perfect for Hayley and Nicola and all their guests to enjoy.

After the ceremony at Mooloolaba spit, guests were then headed to The Green Zebra Restaurant at Kawana Island, where posies of florals awaited them and the epic bridal table was adorned with a garland of foliages.

We transferred all the ceremony florals to the reception space creating a full and lush feel to the Green Zebra (named after a variety of tomato!) overlooking the white sand and sparkling water of Double Bay, Kawana Island.

Guests enjoyed themselves into the night with an amazing, skilled bouquet toss (as you would expect from professional cricketers!)
