Calista & Brendan – A Colourful Hinterland Wedding

Calista and Brendan’s wedding was festive and full of colour, her bouquet set the tone for of the celebration! It was one of my favorite Sunshine Coast weddings of the year. We loved Calista’s colour palette for her wedding flowers of punchy orange tones, hot pink, deep purple and yellow contrasting against the warm and rustic textures of Kenilworth Homestead.
Calista and Brendan’s ceremony was in the old section of the homestead. Anna from Made to Match events draped rainbow streamers along the rafters of the barn and our flower filled ceremony arbor made the perfect ‘kiss shot’ background.
The lounge area was a standout with wine barrels adorned with flowers and an amazing dessert station by Tome and beautiful hire items from Simply Style Co and Style Le Aisle. The room was complete with a bespoke suspended floral arrangement that ‘floated’ above the doorway.
The reception was a Mexican Fiesta celebration with 95 flower filled gold tins flowing down the table! At every angle Calista’s wedding flowers came to life!
We loved working alongside Shane Shepherd Photography, Tasleema Nigh Make Up Artist, Evalyn Parsons Hair, Anna Campbell Bridal as well as the other wedding vendors that we mentioned above. It was especially exciting when this wedding was featured on Hello May’s Blog recently as well!
