JADE + JOEL AT RICKY’S NOOSA

Jade and Joel – what a whirlwind. The December day was windy but perfect, the breeze keeping everyone cool on what was a hot and sticky day! The sun was shining, the laughs were plentiful and the florals were to die for. The almost edible colour palette of caramel, peaches, and apricots, paired with natural tones of blush, tan, and nude was perfect for Hidden Grove and complimented the decor at the reception at Ricky’s on the Noosa River.

Jade has been one of our most lovely and wonderful brides, one of our biggest supporters during COVID when there were no weddings to be had and we created our Willow Bud Shop. We were so happy that we were able to create her dream florals for her wedding day.

The bouquet was filled with roses, lisianthus, fresh scabiosa pods, tweedia, dried grasses, wax flowers, and lush green foliage. It was a wedding florist’s dream!

The blooms danced on the arbour, swaying in the wind celebrating the fact that guests could now dance at weddings!! The ceremony florals were then transferred to the reception space to surround the couple in florals!

Guests then took a ride on the river to arrive in style at Rickys River Bar and Restaurant where the fun began! We filled the tables with florals – all foam-free designs of alternating sizes mixed with single bud vase blooms to create some height and form.
