BRIDGET + KNOX AT YANDINA STATION

What can we say… Wedding of the Year?? This was a dream wedding for the Willow Bud team to work on with amazing vendors, a super chilled couple, and a gorgeous vision. Yandina Station never looked so good!

Bridget had an idea for her March wedding… Full, modern, and airy.

We created full and soft bouquets of roses and phalaenopsis orchids in white, blush, and ivory tones with small touches of foliage to create little clouds of florals to compliment that amazing dress!

The rain had other ideas for our outdoor ceremony plan but we created a wonderland of freestanding florals for Bridget and Knox to be wed amongst. The wet weather backup for this Sunshine Coast Wedding did not fail to disappoint.

The soft undulation of the florals created a really personal and welcoming space for the ceremony by Jay Flood. We added extra candles at the base of the arrangements and petals to make the small space sing. It was a perfect wet weather option. These florals were then repurposed throughout the lounge and behind the bridal table.

The roof at Yandina Station was dripping with foliage and flowers with our 3 large installations hanging above, this really created that warm welcoming feel that was appreciated by all on a wild weather day.

The tables were filled with light and florals with candles and floral hedges spanning the length of the tables and trailing over the ends of the tables reflecting the blush runners spilling over.

Once the florals from the ceremony had been placed in the lounge area, we created a luxe look by putting the freestanding arbour behind the bridal table, creating a floral extravaganza for Bridget and Knox to enjoy the festivities.

Styling props by Splash Events really finished the space and on the day Coordinator Blush Weddings and Events made sure that the day went without a hitch.

A dream wedding that will stay in our minds and inspire so many other brides on the Sunshine Coast.
