With amazing views of the Glasshouse Mountains, Maleny Retreat is the perfect blank canvas to create your dream wedding. Carlen and Blake did just that! With a whopping huge marquee from Fairy Tale Events, they were safe from the elements to party all night on a lovely Autumn April evening.
Carlen’s bouquet was a lush and modern classic style with open garden-style roses in blush, nude, champagne and white with a feature of white phalaenopsis orchids and trailing foliages. Her Karen Willis Holmes dress looked perfect with this classic style bouquet. Roca Verde and Kate Devlin were the architects behind Carlen’s stunning visage.
The colour of the bridesmaid’s dresses was a perfect match for the quicksand roses, we created lush, rounded and bountiful bouquets to accent the sleek lines of the dresses.
The ceremony space was created to make the most of ‘that’ view! Our minimalist brushed gold plinths with floral features accented the space without taking over the stunning hinterland views. The ceremony was by the always amazing Suzanne Riley.
With a huge marquee to fill with people and food, we created a stunning overhead arrangement above the dance floor which everyone got to enjoy through the night dancing to ‘Cut-a-rug DJ’. The hanging installation looked amazing by day and then by night lit by 100’s of fairy lights!
The tables had alternating arrangements of low arrangements and florals styled in our concrete/rose gold vessels
All the elements came together with the help of the lovely Kristy and her team at Maple Events. Food and yummies by Say Cheese platters and That Pizza Guy.
What an amazing day and night filled with fun, dancing and lots of laughs.

The wedding ceremony and reception designs were created specifically for this bride at this Sunshine Coast wedding venue, but this style could be created at many of our beautiful Sunshine Coast hinterland wedding venues in Maleny, Montville, Mapleton, Obi Obi, and Flaxton.
