Boo and David’s wedding was all about them and what and who they love! From no bridal party (except the doggy children) to the curled ice-cream van!

Boo’s bouquet was a full and abundant floral feast full of the best of September blooms- lush fat roses, layered with ranunculus, tulips, soft pretty waxflower and draping foliages. Her floral halo was sweet with ranunculus and dainty wax and andromeda flowers. Both bouquet and halo were the perfect match for her soft and ruffled gown.

The ceremony space at Maleny Retreat has an amazing view so we are always about making the most of that view – A simple white arbour with a lush corner cluster and sweet aisle florals to be transferred to the reception space afterwards. Ceremony wedding flowers are a great way to set the mood but you don’t want to overpower the one thing you came there for…the view or the beach or whatever space you choose. After the ‘I do’s’ the arbour florals were taken down and placed around the tipi by the amazing Maple Wedding and Events girls and they almost ran out of places to put them all!

The Reception in the Tipi by Tipi Luxe was fully floralised with two large hanging installations – one over the dance floor and one over the tables which were full of grouped florals in our mixed glass vessels. Not even the combi was safe from florals! Every surface had a posy or two – which made for a warm and friendly place for guests to relax and have a great time.

Just WOW! I can not recommend Sandi from Willow Bud enough. From our first initial conversation I knew I was in the best of the best hands. She was the first florist to reply to my wedding request and she knew exactly what she was talking about. She helped guide me and have honest conversations about making our day look the best it could be. Sandi did the most ridiculously amazing job to style our dream wedding with her amazing flower arrangements and we truly couldn’t ask for anything more. Every detail was PERFECT and didn’t go unnoticed. .... Thank you so much for all your time, effort and hard work you are truly amazing.
