What a dream wedding and a perfect start to the year with our first January wedding! The perfect day paired with lush florals and close family. It was a paired-back version of what was to be, but it was so much more lush and intimate than we all imagined. Veronica and Andrew were an amazing couple to work with and Andrew wanted his bride to have all that she dreamed of (best husband ever!)
Veronica had a dream of florals and lots of them, but left it mostly up to the Willow Bud team to design something to suit her vision of a secret garden. The intimate space at Secrets on the Lake overlooking the water was perfect and the overarching trees created a floral cave for the ceremony.
Her bouquets were bountiful and full of the best summer blooms like roses, hydranges, calla lilies and trailing jasmine.
For the ceremony space we used our nude open framed plinths as a set of three to create an open framed arbour design, so lush but airy in design to showcase the amazing leafy views of the venue. These were later moved to the reception space and separated to become three pillars of florals, creating a full floral back drop behind the bridal table and the ailse gardens were placed at the table ends and beneath the signage.
The reception tables were full of candles, styling elements by Simply Style Co. and beautiful touches by the family. Each row of tables had a mixture of long and low floral designs and simple bud vases with our new matte blush vessels.
The stunning cake by Zoe Clarke Cakes was a spectacular as always. We were so glad that we were able to be a part of this great time, bringing this dream day together for Veronica and Andrew.
