TRAILING RIBBONS AT SPICERS CLOVELLY ESTATE
SPICERS CLOVELLY ESTATE
MAY 2016
With a touch of old Hollywood glamour and effortless style, Sarah and Andrew’s wedding was an amazing day to be a part of. Sarah’s garden style bouquet was created with the sweetest Autumn blooms in a colour palette of white, blush, peach and crisp greens. The bouquets were finished with champagne trailing silk ribbons. We used an assortment of tulips, hydrangea, David Austin Juliette roses, O’Hara roses, Ice Breaker roses, astrantia, lisianthus jasmine vine and camellia foliage.
The ceremony space on the lawns of Spicer’s Clovelly Estate was really classic in styling with sweet aisle posies hanging from the black Hamptons cross back chairs with trailing ribbons to reflect the bridal party. A pastel trail of rose petals scattered down the aisle leading to a stunning ceremony arbour.
The arbour was so airy and whimsical. Wispy pampas grass was delicately placed with open roses, hydrangea, and rambling greens to add to the floatiness of the design. We added a hint of rosy pink with some peony tulips and pepper tree foliage which worked really well with our grey wash arbour and soft apricot draping fabric.
We love creating floral concepts for hinterland weddings and this design was a delight. Brass chalice bowls were filled with pastel toned florals with unstructured greenery. These were enhanced with soft gold table runners and golden taper candles. The overhead light fittings were dresses with delicate clusters of florals , pampas grass and rambling greens for some extra prettiness.
May weddings in Montville and anywhere else in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland are so beautiful, the trees are showing off with their vibrant leaves (hello amazing photos!), the days are getting cooler and the summer rains have ended.
We were so happy with our photos!! (and flowers)
Thanks again for all your amazing work and support - we were both blown away!!
